Ingredients

  • 4 Cups Potatoes (mashed)

  • 2 Sticks Butter

  • 3.4 Cup Sugar

  • 3/4 Cup Brown Sugar (packed)

  • 1 cup Milk

  • 3 Eggs slightly beaten

  • 2 tsp Vanilla

  • 1 1/4 tsp Cinnamon

  • 1/4 tso Nutmeg

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees
  • Boil the potatoes until tender
  • Mash sweet potatoes
  • Add butter and allow to melt
  • Add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla
  • Slightly beat eggs and mix in potato mixture
  • Beat with a stand or hand mixer to ensure the potato mixture is pureed
  • Pour equal amounts into pie crust
  • Bake for 1 hr and 30 min or until center is not shaking
  • Serve cool, top with whip cream (optional)
