Bourbon Candied Yams

Ingredients

  • 2 Sweet Potatoes Peeled and Sliced

  • 4 Tbsp Unsalted Butter

  • 1/4 Cup Brown Sugar

  • 1 tsp Cinnamon

  • 2 tsp Vanilla

  • 2 Tbsp Bourbon

  • 2 Tbsp Orange Juice

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees
  • Melt butter in sauce pan over medium low heat
  • Stir in brown sugar until melted
  • Add Cinnamon, vanilla, bourbon, and orange juice
  • Lower heat and allow to thicken and burn off the bourbon
  • Add potatoes and coat evenly
  • Bake for 30 minutes
  • Arrange in in baking dish.
