kcalLooking for a tasty quick and easy salad dressing recipe to kick up your salad? Well this Maple Bourbon salad dressing will do the trick. Prepared with the healthy super food Greek yogurt makes the dressing creamy instead of your everyday vinaigrette.
Ingredients
2 Tbsp. Shallots
1 Tbsp. Garlic
1 tbsp. Olive Oil
1/4 Cup Bourbon
1/4 Cup Maple Syrup
1/4 Cup Apple Cider Vinegar
2/3 Cup Olive Oil extra virgin
1/2 Cup Greek Yogurt plain
1 Tbsp Dijon Mustard
1/2 tsp Black Pepper
1 tsp Sea Salt
Directions
- In a sauce pan, heat 1 tbsp. of olive oil, add shallots and garlic
- Sauté until tender with a slightly colored
- Remove from heat and add Bourbon. Return to heat to medium high heat and quickly ignite the alcohol. Do not stir, once the flame dies down the bourbon is cooked off, remove from heat.
- Pour the contents of the pan into a blender
- Add remaining ingredients to blender. Blend to emulsify. Chill or serve warm.
